Nairn Cumming
Director
Nairn joined the firm in 2008 and since then has continued to successfully grow the business as his father and grandfather did before him. As Managing Director, he continues to develop the range of clients we have and is constantly seeking new business. He enjoys taking the time to meet clients and help them on their journey to success. Outside of work, Nairn is a keen golfer and enjoys travelling with his wife and young daughter.
Jenny Cumming
Director
Jenny has worked within the business for over 20 years providing a range of different roles. She is excellent with client relations and helps clients with personal tax needs as well as CIS, payroll and company secretarial work. She enjoys maintaining relationships with clients she has known for long periods of time and is delighted to sit down for a chat over a cuppa! In her spare time, Jenny loves travelling to new places and taking time to herself in her country cottage.
Tom McWhirter
Tax Manager
The longest serving employee, joining the firm in 1984, has a particular interest in tax matters and is always happy to discuss with clients their accounting and tax arrangements. He has extensive knowledge in all forms of tax and is very keen to help clients transition to MTD. As the office manager, Tom is vitally important to the way Stewart & Cumming Ltd is ran. Outside of work Tom’s main interests are history and politics.
Kelsey Haig

Accountant
Kelsey started with us as a school leaver in 2017 after being accepted to study Accountancy & Finance at the University of Edinburgh. After a period, she took the smart decision to work full-time with us and focus on her qualifications while in a working environment. Since then, she has completed her AAT qualifications, and is currently in her last year of completing her ACCA. We as a firm are very proud of Kelsey and continue to help her grow. She has a range of responsibilities within the firm including, Accounts preparation, Personal tax, CIS, Payroll, Corporate tax and much more.
Rachel Little
Xero Specialist
Rachel has several years experience working with a variety of companies using xero to maintain their accounting records, submit VAT, CIS and MTD returns and working with clients to ensure we find the most effective means of delegating work between us and clients.
Rob Halliday
BSc ACA
Consultant
Rob has spent 35 years straddling accountancy and technology, having graduated in Computer Science and Accounting and become a Chartered Accountant. He has spent most of his career in the finance industry architecting new systems and processes. Rob now keeps himself occupied with new challenges helping smaller businesses leverage modern cloud-based accounting systems in an effective and efficient manner.
